Discovery & Assessment
A confidential relationship assessment exploring faith, family background, communication, expectations, finances, and emotional health.

Covenant Foundations Marriage Ministry helps engaged and seriously dating couples prepare for the realities of marriage through biblical instruction, practical coaching, and meaningful conversation — led by Pastor Lawrence Robinson.
Research consistently shows that couples who participate in structured premarital ministry experience higher levels of marital satisfaction, stronger communication, and greater resilience when facing challenges.
A guided journey from discovery to a shared vision for life together.
What makes Pastor Robinson's ministry unique is his ability to combine biblical truth with practical wisdom. His counseling style is authentic, compassionate, engaging, and deeply personal. Rather than offering one-size-fits-all advice, he walks alongside each couple, helping them discover God's unique purpose for their relationship while equipping them with practical tools they can apply throughout their marriage.

Senior Associate Pastor - Retired, The Potter's House of Dallas
For more than 50 years in ministry and 43 years of marriage to his wife, Beverly Robinson, Pastor Lawrence Robinson has devoted his life to helping individuals and couples build strong, Christ-centered relationships that stand the test of time.
As the leader of the Marital and Premarital Ministries at The Potter's House in Dallas, Pastor Robinson has personally counseled more than 500 couples, guiding them through every stage of the marriage journey—from engagement and premarital preparation to marriage enrichment and pastoral support. He has also had the privilege of officiating the wedding ceremonies for many of the couples he has prepared, making him a trusted pastor not only for the wedding day but for the marriage that follows.
Pastor Robinson's approach to marriage ministry is rooted in the timeless truths of Scripture while addressing the real-life challenges couples face today. His ministry goes beyond simply preparing couples for a wedding ceremony—it equips them for a lifetime of covenant, commitment, and spiritual partnership.
Drawing upon decades of pastoral leadership, personal experience, and a successful marriage of more than four decades, Pastor Robinson helps couples develop the skills necessary to build healthy, lasting relationships. His counseling emphasizes that love and communication are the cornerstones of every thriving marriage, while also addressing critical areas such as conflict resolution, financial stewardship, family dynamics, intimacy, forgiveness, trust, and shared purpose.
Licensed for ministry in 1982 and ordained in 1984, Pastor Robinson has faithfully served alongside Bishop T. D. Jakes at The Potter's House for more than four decades. Known by colleagues as the "Pastor of Pastors," he has dedicated his ministry to strengthening people, families, and communities through biblical teaching, pastoral care, and servant leadership.
Today, through Covenant Foundations Marriage Ministry, Pastor Robinson continues his life's calling: preparing couples not only for one of the most important days of their lives, but for a lifetime of love, faith, communication, and covenant.
"A successful marriage isn't built on finding the perfect person. It's built on two people who choose every day to love, communicate, grow, and honor God together."
Take the first step toward building a healthy, Christ-centered marriage. Together we will prepare not only for your wedding day — but for a lifetime of covenant, commitment, and purpose.
"Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate."— Mark 10:9
